Day 2 of the 2010 Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Challenge.
Day 2 has been fantastic! Despite the damn lurgie that I currently have (Coughing my head off) I feel fantastic. My energy levels are the best they have been in a long long time. It is just after 2:00pm as I am writing this and I feel great. I would normally be falling in a heap by now. So that is a very noticeable bonus already.
I slightly reduced my food today and changed a few foods around. Have had no trouble whatsoever getting the food in so far. In fact I’m really enjoying it. Especially the bananas!
Our team (Blubber Busters) is up and running. A great bunch of people if I do say so myself. The Burn The Fat Inner Circle Forum is a fantastic place with wonderful people from around the world. Everyone is so forthcoming with support and advice. It truly is worth the small price to be part of such a great community.
I just finished reading an article which Tom posted on the forum from a member by the name of Brian Nordberg about moving from diet to lifestyle.
Brian was basically saying that he is the sort of person (like myself) that if they don’t commit 100% to their nutrition, fitness and mindset they are destined to fail. We are not one of the lucky ones who can eat what they want and still have 5% bodyfat. No Way! We have to account for every piece of food that goes in if we wish to have a half decent body.
Brian went on to say that once he realised that “It was his fault” he was finally able to take some sort of control of his body. He soon came to the realisation that this had to be for life not just another on again off again fad diet.
To Brian’s credit he has lost 27 lbs of fat and gained 22 lbs of lean muscle.
As with Brian, this will have to be the same for me. I believe that the work required is a fair trade off for a fit healthy body.
I don’t need to lose anywhere near that amount, so if Brian can do it, so can I!
Went to gym. Did 35 mins of weights and 15 of cardio.
I have just figured out how to save my meal plan as a web page so if anyone is interested here it is. BFFM Meal Plan.
As you can see, there is plenty of food and plenty of variety. It is now 8:45 pm and I feel fantastic!!! My energy is at an all time high. Nearly time for meal 6.
Bye for now.
Brett.
